I am currently 47 been training for 33y, i just added stronglifts mid February and i am making the best gains of my life. Squats, deadlifts, bent rows, bench press, standing military press, all you need. I do shrugs and heavy close grip pulley row 3 x 8 for good measure i do not have a pull up bar sucks because this is one of the best movement for back.

Brix, great video, it helped me a lot and makes me feel pretty good as i've been doing most of these compound exerecises, and can testify, with proper eating habits, it works!

The biggest difference between what I'm doing and what you showed here, is besides I haven't done enough lunges, but the other thing is on squats, instead of using a heavy barebell I have been using 2 dumbbell weights, starting at the beginning of the year with a small 5 lb weight but working up to 20-25 lb each. It's still not much, but I was afraid with a barbell and not knowing really what I am doing it could hurt my back.

Is it worth it, if possible, to do it more than twice a week? I want to try it at least 4 times a week. Is it possible? Hopefully you can respond to my message.

Frustrating – I have very bad knees. Couldn't do a squat and probably shouldn't do a leg press. I don't know how I'm going to work my lower body.
