Terrie: …Or a moon cycle to get here. 478 miles.
Second Chance: It took me like 95 days so…

Terrie: Hey, you made it. That's what counts.

Thank you Joe and Terrie for what you do.

Of course you would be overwhelmed with the number of day hikers that would want to personally meet with you. A lot of spanking going on…. 😎     I've never been stung by a single bee……….It's always the whole hive. LOL  At least now  you know you're not allergic to bee stings. Speaking of bees, what happened to Little Bee ? Just an observation here, but you might want to learn a little German.

I like your rock! I had seen another video w Casa De Luna (maybe Panda?) and Terrie had said one of the 'rules' was she gets a hug. So when I saw you were going there, that made me smile! 🙂 Thanks for doing this, Corey. You're inspirational and just such a great person. 15 miles is awesome! I'm sorry you got stung. I've become quite a wimp about wasps, yellow jackets, and the like. Throw a rattlesnake in front of me any day and I'd probably do better ! (Of course I'd jump and yell, probably, since that seems instinctual). Well, now that I think about it, I do seem to get rattled at by snakes possibly more than average, so never mind on that! 😉

This is one of my favorite videos from you…..I was really touched by the painted rocks in the forest and all of the meaning wrapped up in each rock and how many hikers are represented there. What a special place, when you think about each rock being an individual, unique person who had the courage to take this journey. You continue to amaze me with your candor and honesty – even how you chose to paint your rock, depicting emotion and sadness. But this sadness is leaving your soul. Your continued innocent joy at all the things you see and experience on trail is stunning and beautiful. Keep going!❤️

    You're so epic!

If I may, knowing tracks can save your life, even if you're not an experienced hunter or anything like that. for example. Say you find some deer tracks on the trail, Well, you know they are deer, so you're not too worried, but if there are deer around, there is that which can support deer (food, and more specifically, water) around. If you need water, it's a decent sign.

Now lets say it's a mountain lion track. Obviously you're not going to just curl up and die or anything, but you WILL (I'm sure) be more vigilant. you're going to be on alert because something potentially deadly is around somewhere. These are a couple little examples, may or may not be useful for you. Just kinda thinking out loud.

    You're awesome!

Hi Cory, this is No Flips friend Mike. We talked while you were staying at his place. Anyways be careful around the bee hives here in California. We do have some Africanized bees in some areas. The problem with those is once you are stung, it’s like an alarm has gone off for the rest of the hive and you will have a hundred bees on you in no time. If you run across another situation like the one on the video get the hell away from the area quick. Like at least a 1/4 mile. I know this because I do beekeeping.
The den looks like a coyote den.
Looking good my brother. Keep on trucking and safe travels.
