You did such a nice job filming I thought you had hired a camera man! I'm glad you explained that-I enjoyed your reflective talk, & I teared up a little. You do have so many blessings, a wonderful family, your health, and I am guessing an awesome church family, but I'm pretty sure you bring a lot of joy to a lot of people with your humor, wit, and creativity. Keep inspiring us to get out there & explore!

Well done sir! My son and I leave tomorrow for our 2nd attempt at R2R2R but this time over 4 days. Our adventure begins Thursday at the South Kaibab trail head across to Cottonwood. Friday we will start at Cottonwood, ascend to the north rim and head back to cottonwood. This was the first video that shows some of the true beauty between Cottonwood and the North rim as well as what to expect so we both thank you for sharing you trip.God Bless.

Love your videos of both hikes. 3 weeks ago I was at the south rim for the first time. It was one of my biggest dreams to see the Grand Canyon. Now that I did, I want to come back and do some hiking there . Unfortunately, I live in Germany, so not this easy, lots of planning and saving up required. Thank you so much for sharing the beauty. Hopefully I get to see the trails in real one of those days…

After watching the South Rim, the North Rim although I can imagine it is tough, the weather seemed to work out to your advantage. The sun was not beating down on you as much. Now I have to choose do I want the South or North Rim?

Very interesting and well put together video, a lot of added hiking involved setting the camera showing you coming up the trail than going up the trail

Love the video. I watched the South Rim one first. Very informative. Question. What are you using for a camera? Do you use a selfie stick…. tripod? I have a GoPro but the sound is nowhere as good as yours. Anyway, great job. I'm envious. 🙂

What song is playing in the background? Sounds so calming, very representative of how the beauty of the national parks make us feel.

Great video in every aspect! I am curious if you enjoyed the South hike or North Rim hike most? Have you heard that there are now 418 National Park units? Dang – now we have 3 left and triple the driving time. Lol!

We got a lot of rain from the hurricane in Gilbert Az. I've never hiked that trail before, after watching this I just might need to make a quick 4 hour trip to the canyon.
