What if your training is solely based of calisthenics?

2:30, if you start fasting you will start to get out of your own way…the peace, stillness associated with fasting will open you up to be led by God…

3:35 let virtue of steadfastness and detachment be prioritized

I’ve been into fasting for years
Just today I was thinking it’d be great if Elliot spoke about strength training and fasting
I’ve done my own experimenting and it’s been great!
But I know you go deep into research and experimenting.
    I’m gonna listen now.
    Thank you!

Why not just be a simple, basic human being and eat food with the purpose of nurturing our blood and body? Why be so extreme and adrenaline-based?

Hello Elliott. Would you consider doing a live stream tomorrow so we can ask you any questions we may have before the fast begins?

This really looks good. I was wondering about our early ancestors and persistence hunters. Our ancestors wouldve started hunting fasted already .Lots of running and stalking before actually going for the kill on a physically superior animal(i.e. mammoths, etc.) . then chop it up and carry it home to the tribe.
As males were primarily hunters, this might be the closest thing to how nature intended we use our bodies.

Imam ghazali says too much food has the same affect on the brain as alcohol. The mind gets fogged and intoxicated thats why the intelligence does down after eating too much food.

    1. Don't destroy yourself in the gym (3:05)

    2. Lift heavy and often, but only do around 2-4 sets of 2-4 reps at once (5:08)

    3. & 4. Do primarily full-body, compound movements, alternate super-slow and explosive workouts (6:18)

    5. Avoid failure (10:00)
